Tom Kleinschnitz Bio

Thomas G. Kleinschnitz Sr. is President and Founder of American Home Services. He is the lead Building Inspector and Trainer. Tom is licensed as a Certified Master Building Inspector, Certified Pest Control Operator and holds multiple certifications in related industries.

Tom’s work history prior to founding American Home Services was 22 years of Engineering. Getting his start in the City Engineering Department of Melbourne, Florida, Tom advanced from there to working for several civil, architectural, and mechanical firms. His exposure to residential building construction is widespread. Tom also has extensive hands-on experience in ALL construction disciplines of residential construction.

Tom holds credentials with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) as a “Certified Inspector”, a past Registered Professional with the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI), a member of the International Code Council, “Certified through the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), and a Certified Master Inspector. Tom’s dedication to further education is unmatched by other professionals in his trade. Currently studying to be Code Certified he has entered the Master’s Program with the International Code Council. Tom has personally performed over 9,000 home inspections and is considered one of the best and most preferred in the Central Florida area.
